Shift Pattern: Our average shift duration ranges from 6 – 12 hours meaning you will only ever work with one client per shift so there is requirement to travel continuously to numerous homes.

Home Care Providers is seeking experienced Healthcare Assistants to provide exceptional home care for service users across the Peterborough and Cambridge area.

We are looking for compassionate and dedicated Healthcare Assistants to provide high-quality care for adults and children with complex medical needs in the Peterborough and Cambridge area. In this role, you will offer essential support to individuals and their families, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being. If you have a passion for making a meaningful impact and thrive in a caring environment, we’d love to hear from you. All applicants to have at least 6 months experience working within complex care in a community/home based setting. Please note that we are unable to offer sponsorship for this role.

What do we offer?

  • Hourly pay rates ranging between £14.00 - £18.00 per hour.
  • Our average shift duration ranges from 6 – 12 hours meaning you will only ever work with one client per shift so there is requirement to travel continuously to numerous homes.
  • We will always aim to offer you work based on your availability and location (within 1 hours travel) where possible and just as a guide, the average healthcare assistant who works three 12 hour shifts per week for us earns between £504 - £648 per week. Please kindly note that this will depend on your shift pattern (days/nights/weekends) and these rates shown are inclusive of holiday pay which is accumulated per hour worked.
  • Most of our service users require 24/7 around the clock ongoing care with the added benefit of having a robust core care team to ensure their continuity of care and safety always remains intact.
  • Full-Time and Part-Time work available.

Essential Qualifications and Skills:

  • At least 6 months experience working within complex care in a community/home based setting.
  • Experience of some or all of the following:
  • Respiratory and Airway Management: Tracheostomy and Ventilation
  • Cough Assist
  • Nebulisers
  • Seizure & Epilepsy Management
  • Enteral Feeding
  • NG Tube Management
  • Oxygen Therapy
  • Medication Administration
  • Bowel Management
  • Autonomic Dysreflexia
  • Dystonia
  • Dysphagia
  • Catheter Care
  • Oral Suctioning
  • Mobility support
